Geomatic is the science and technology of the collect, analysis, interpretation and diffusion of geographical information (given spatialized geodata). It includes a great number of disciplines [topometry, topography, remote-sensing, GNSS surveys, G.I.S, cartography, webmapping, ...] which contribute to create a geo-localized but intelligent display of the physical world and environment which surrounds us. The i from igeomatic stands for fields which are important to us: Internet, Information, Interpretation, Image, International and... Imagination.

igeomatic delivers in this space a knowledge base about Geographical information systems (GIS), webmapping and webSig (SVGMyServer, InstantAtlas, WMS, WFS, ...), geodetic systems and cartographic projections (formulas, acess to EPSG codification), topography, GPS, digital panoramic photography and links to cartographic data.
